Watch Cleaning: You'll need:

  1. Microfiber Cloth: Soft and lint-free, a microfiber cloth is ideal for gently wiping away dust and smudges without scratching the watch's surface.
  2. Mild Soap or Detergent: A gentle soap or detergent is perfect for cleaning the case and bracelet. Avoid harsh chemicals like bleach that can damage the watch's finish.
  3. Soft Brush or Toothpick: For cleaning between bracelet links or hard-to-reach places. A Toothbrush is ideal!
  4. Water-Resistant Watches: If your watch is water-resistant, you can use lukewarm water for cleaning. However, be cautious with leather straps, and remove them before cleaning, as water can damage them.
  5. Watch Cleaning Solution (Optional): For stainless steel or metal bracelets, you can use a specialized cleaning solution for a more thorough clean.

Watch Cleaning Process

IMPORTANT: Ensure that Watch crowns and escape valves are CLOSED before beginning any work. Small particles (Dust) and water can easily make their way in to your watch and ruin a movement.

  1. Prepare Your Workspace: Set up a clean and clutter-free workspace. Lay a soft cloth on the surface to prevent any accidental scratches.
  2. Remove the Watch from Your Wrist: Take off your watch before starting the cleaning process. This ensures you have better control and visibility while cleaning. If you are confident, we highly recommend removing bracelets, end-links & springboard. It will make cleaning your watch even easier.
  3. Dust and Debris Removal: Gently wipe the watch with a microfiber cloth to remove any surface dust and debris. Pay attention to the crevices between the case and bracelet.
  4. Cleaning the Bracelet/Strap:
    • For metal bracelets: Dip a soft brush or toothpick in soapy water and scrub gently between the links. Use a microfiber cloth to wipe away excess water and soap.
    • For leather straps: Dampen a cloth with a mild soap solution and carefully wipe the strap. Ensure it doesn't become overly wet, and let it air dry.
  5. Cleaning the Watch Case:
    • For stainless steel or metal cases: Apply a small amount of watch cleaning solution to a soft cloth and gently wipe the case. Use a toothpick or soft brush for detailed areas.
    • For non-metal cases: Use a damp cloth with a mild soap solution. Ensure you don't immerse the watch in water if it's not water-resistant.
  6. Rinsing (If Applicable):
    • If your watch is water-resistant, and has been tested for water resistance, rinse it under lukewarm water to remove any soap residue. Dry it thoroughly with a soft cloth afterward.
  7. Polishing (Optional):
